Stanislav Petrov

This story is quite shocking and shows just how insane the Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) argument is. Stanislav Evgrafovich Petrov was an officer in the front line of Soviet Russia’s nuclear defense strategy. Through his actions we are all still alive.
